Youth and Women’s Education in the Kingdom of Busoga

As part of the initiative to promote youth and women’s education in the Kingdom of Busogo, Catherine will be collaborating with her father Prince Edward Nantamu of Iganga to support Iganga Secondary School for Girls in the rural county village of Iganga in the Kingdom of Busoga in Uganda. She hopes to build their first website to give the school and global presence. The goal of working with the school is to support efforts to provide young women a holistic, well-rounded education in science, technology, and mathematics. By creating programs that emphasize self-efficacy, She hopes to work with the school to help young women also develop the social and emotional skills needed to prepare for a global competitive world and to contribute to as global citizens. 

 

 

Friends of Falls Church Homeless Shelter

Catherine has started volunteering twice a month starting December 2nd, 2023 with the Friends of Falls Church Fall Church, Virginia in the Northern Virginia to support the homeless in the local area.
